Lacy Bird Academy · since 2016
Who we are
Lacy Bird Academy opened alongside the Lacy Bird studio in 2016. The studio makes over 15,000 bouquets a year and runs weddings and events — and everyone who teaches at the academy works in that production.
That is why we teach the way we work: the same palettes, recipes, pricing and photography we use for real clients, in a system anyone can learn — from a first stem to a studio of your own.

/ Founder
“My mission is to give everyone the chance to do what they love — and earn well from it.”
Sofia founded Lacy Bird Academy in 2016. Many of our students came with no experience at all — and now run studios of their own. The academy is more than courses: it is a community of florists and a system that changes careers.
/ How we think
Every recipe, palette and price comes from real orders of the Lacy Bird studio — not from a textbook.
Everyone who teaches here builds weddings, events and daily orders. You learn from practice, not theory.
Soft palettes, generous shapes, restraint over ornament — broken down into steps you can repeat.
Colour and technique go together with pricing, photography and sales — floristry as a profession.
