A practical online course

colour for florists

A florist's tool that takes your creativity to the next level.

We're showing all our cards. The Lacy Bird style rests on three things — colour, form and texture — so colour theory is vital to us.

To train Lacy Bird florists we developed our own method of teaching colour in floristry. Now we're sharing it with you.

A bright bouquet in a hatbox by the Tsvety Schastya studio

/ Student story

“Bright, contrasting bouquets started attracting wealthier clients and setting us apart from competitors.”

Anastasia Rodionova, head florist of the Tsvety Schastya studio chain, Kirov

When we put a bright bouquet in the window, it sells almost immediately. Bouquets made by the rules of colour theory are in much higher demand.

When a bouquet's colours are really well chosen, people ask about it more often. Bright, contrasting bouquets sell better.

Before the colour course I didn't see what I see now in colour combinations. I think my bouquets have become brighter and more interesting.
